The workshop “Accelerated Quantum Supercomputing: CUDA-Q Connects HPC, Quantum, and Applications” is a full-day event designed to advance the integration of quantum computing and high-performance computing (HPC). It brings together leading experts from quantum software frameworks, hardware vendors, application researchers, and HPC practitioners to share perspectives and foster collaboration across these rapidly evolving fields.
Participants will explore the latest developments in hybrid HPC–quantum systems, with sessions highlighting both technical achievements and ongoing challenges in hardware, software, and system-level integration. The program features invited talks on distributed quantum computing, scalable quantum architectures, and the role of GPU simulation in quantum research. A special hands-on session will provide practical experience with state-of-the-art quantum devices and simulators.
Real-world applications, such as quantum-HPC solutions for chemistry and optimization, will be showcased to demonstrate the practical impact of quantum acceleration on scientific and industrial domains. The workshop will also reflect on lessons learned from previous events and discuss strategies for building a sustainable, collaborative research community that bridges quantum software development, HPC, and quantum hardware innovation.
By facilitating interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge exchange, this workshop aims to identify anticipated breakthroughs and key obstacles toward scalable quantum supercomputing. Attendees will leave with a comprehensive view of the current landscape, future directions, and practical steps for contributing to the evolution of quantum-accelerated HPC.
