SBP Analysis Tool is an educational planning application designed to help users compare Survivor Benefit Plan coverage with investing the monthly SBP premium.
Users may enter information such as:
Dates of birth
Retirement dates
SBP covered amounts and premiums
Life-expectancy assumptions
Investment-return assumptions
Financial-resource information
Scenario names and notes
This information is entered voluntarily for calculation and planning purposes.
SBP Analysis Tool performs its calculations locally on the user’s device.
The app does not transmit personal, financial, retirement, or scenario information to the developer or to external servers.
Saved scenarios are stored locally on the device. PDF reports are created locally and remain under the user’s control unless the user chooses to save, print, or share them.
SBP Analysis Tool does not collect:
Names
Email addresses
Precise location
Financial account credentials
Advertising identifiers
Browsing history
Usage tracking data
The app does not use information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
The app may provide links to external informational resources, including government or educational websites. Opening those links may be subject to the privacy practices of the external website or service.
SBP Analysis Tool is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party websites.
SBP Analysis Tool is intended for adults evaluating military retirement and survivor-benefit planning. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the app does not transmit user information to the developer, the developer does not maintain a server-based user account or personal-data record to delete.
Users can remove locally stored information by deleting saved scenarios, resetting the app’s inputs, or deleting the app from the device.
SBP Analysis Tool is provided for educational planning purposes only. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, or government-benefits advice.
Users should verify important Survivor Benefit Plan decisions and eligibility requirements directly with DFAS or a qualified professional.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app’s features or privacy practices change. Any revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
