Shelley Kandola, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Research Associate, Mathematics
I am a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, where I was a graduate student in the Mathematics Department under Craig Westerland. I earned my B.S. from St. Lawrence University in 2013, where I double majored in computer science and mathematics. Consequently, my interests often fall in an intersection of the two. I am particularly interested in Topological Data Analysis, and have been interested in Homotopy Type Theory in the past. My dissertation was on topological complexity and digital topology. At Michigan State University, I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate working with Liz Munch and Shiv Karunakaran.
