SENIOR SHOW - THURSDAY, MAY 14
Performer Arrival: 3:15pm on May 14th. Please be on time as we will have a brief meeting with the performers and a full-dress rehearsal. All dancers arrive in full costume with completed hair/make-up for their first dance. Find their first dance by checking the show order here.
Show time 6:30pm: Audience should arrive 30 mins prior for ticket scanning. The show is approximately 2 hours total including an intermission. All dancers participate in the end-of-show bow. Plus, we will also give milestone Hall of Fame Induction awards. Dancers are not able to leave before the end of the show, unless pre-arranged. Please contact hannah@sbdancearts.com for details.
After-show:
*Security Note* Adults are not required to be present for the dancer checkout at the end of the Senior Show. Dancers will be released on their own.
JUNIOR SHOW - FRIDAY, MAY 15
Performer Arrival: 3:45pm on May 15th. Please be on time as we will have a brief meeting with the performers and a full-dress rehearsal. All dancers arrive in full costume with completed hair/make-up for their first dance. Find their first dance by checking the show order here.
Show time 6:30pm: Audience should arrive 30 mins prior for ticket scanning. The show is approximately 100 minutes total with an intermission. All dancers participate in the end-of-show bow. Plus, we will also give milestone Hall of Fame Induction awards.
After-show Pickup: Dancer pick-up is at the end of the show outside the Multi-Purpose Room Backstage Area. We MUST be sure all junior dancers are accounted for in the Multi Purpose Room, with their things gathered, after the bow before we release them. This can take up to 15 minutes after the show ends. Take this time to buy flowers or concessions in the lobby! All proceeds benefit dance scholarships via Move With Purpose.
Backstage note: Parents may NOT come backstage at any time once the show has begun, unless they have been contacted by backstage staff to do so in the case of an emergency. Please send your dancer with any snacks they may need (3:45-8:15pm) OR small bills of cash to purchase pizza backstage. If you have any medical/special requests, please be sure to send them to backstage manager email by Monday, May 11. Dancers needing to be picked up early must have a pre-arranged early pickup with backstage manager name. Request yours at the email above by May 11.
*Security Note* - Junior Show dancers do not need an adult for check-out. Adults can receive their dancers outside the Multi Purpose Room Dressing Room after they have been individually self-checked out. Or you can instruct older dancers to meet you in the lobby when they are released.
Early Pickup: We handle the safety of hundreds of students, which is why we have a standard pickup/dismissal time of AFTER THE SHOW. Early pickup/dismissal is only permitted if it has been pre-arranged. If your dancer will not be participating in the bow and you will be picking up your dancer before the show is over, you MUST PRE-ARRANGE early pickup/dismissal by Monday, May 11. YOUTH SHOW - SATURDAY, MAY 16
Performer Arrival: 10:45am on May 16th. All dancers arrive in full costume with completed hair/make-up for their first dance. Find their first dance by checking the show order here.
Guardian/Caregiver Safety Meeting 11:00am: The caregiver MUST bring the dancer in person and attend the 11am safety meeting. We note the name of the caretaker picking up your dancer at the end of the show, for our secure check-out process. We proudly partner with the Learning Den preschool. 20 LD teachers along with your SBDA staff, will keep your children safe and entertained backstage!
Showtime 12:00pm: Please allow time for the ticketing/scanning process; we suggest arriving 45 minutes prior to showtime. The show is approximately 70 minutes and does not have an intermission. All dancers participate in the end-of-show bow.

You will see signs and staff guiding the ONE designated pickup guardian to the pickup line. Remaining family may wait in the courtyard or lobby. We MUST be sure all little dancers are accounted for in the Multi Purpose Room, with their things gathered, after the bow before we allow pickup to begin.
