A little about us
In year 2020, the world came to a halt. Children had to stay home and do distance learning, and many parents had to juggle working from home and homeschooling, on top of everything else. Churches also shifted worship services online. SBCSDA Children Ministry decided to create videos of Bible stories retold in English and Chinese (Mandarin). Bible stories are the foundation to moral values and behavior guidance. We hope that through our bilingual story videos, children will be meaningfully and joyfully occupied during these challenging times at home.
In every video, there are simple words that children can look and learn while watching the videos. Videos are created in both English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese words versions.
Our stories are accompanied by creatively designed and fun activities that children can engage in while or after they watch the videos. These activities are original and carefully thought out by a grandmother of six who has had years of experiences guiding and teaching children. Together with a grandfather of six, who meticulously designed and put together the graphics, we believe that these activities are simple and educational for children of various ages.
