Steps to set up server settings of SBC Global for windows
1. Open the mail application where you want to configure the mail account and then click on the Settings option
2. From settings, click on the accounts option and choose the "Add account" option
3. You will now have to enter your login details that are your email address and your mail password.
4. Now open the "manual setup" option and choose the manual settings option, to begin with, the details of the IMAP server type.
For server type IMAP
· IMAP Username: enter your full email address correctly in the given field
· IMAP password: fill out your mail password correctly in the given field
· IMAP server hostname: type imap.mail.att.net for your hostname
· IMAP server port: enter 993 for this field
· IMAP SSL/TLS required: click on yes for this option
· Click yes for the "My server requires authentication" box and enter your username and mail password correctly.
You can use the steps given above to set up your incoming mail server with the account type as IMAP.
