Why Benefits

The IEEE Power and Energy Society Student Branch Chapter of Marian Engineering College focuses more on the development side of its members. Starting from the EXECOM training to deployment of each members as event coordinators we are able to strengthen them in management end. From there studies there are able to grab the technical knowledge and the basics of life skills. For the technical practical they have the Laboratory and workshops beyond the knowledge in the life skills modules we provide you a chance to prove the managing and ushering skills in you. Over the year there are exceptional workshops and technical contest we handle and host the members are learning and able to get the technical knowledge together at the same time. Also, the exclusive technical workshops and meetups for our members will provide the chance to excel in their future. Just take a look below on what all our Mentors and past Leaders have made for to the team follow in order to meet the standards that we have to make and provide for the members.

EXECOM Training

  • For the selection criteria we want passionate members who they think can become leaders for the future.

  • For that proper training in mentoring and handling are given for the selected EXECOM members.

  • As a practical session, each member will be assigned as event volunteers for the flagship event 3PHASE which marks the end of each EXECOM year.

EXECOM Kits

  • All members are registered members of IEEE and IEEE PES from which a boom of technical knowledge materials like IEEE Xplore, magazines and the list goes on.

  • Beyond that each outgoing EXECOM members as a gift of gratitude will provide all the newly elected members with EXECOM kit.

Outings and Trips

  • Each year there will be a farewell party by a small cake cutting event which will be mostly inside the campus.

  • Every 3rd Sunday of alternate 3 months there will be a meetups among the members with past leaders and mentors which strengthens the organization.

IEEE Meetups

  • A large no. of exclusive meetings and workshops under IEEE and IEEE PES are conducted annually.

  • As a member of representation, each EXECOM member gets a chance for attending the events with a partial registration fee paid by the SBC
