Invited Speaker

Henrique Lopes Cardoso holds a PhD in Informatics Engineering and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Computation, both from the University of Porto. He is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. He is a senior researcher and member of the Directive Board of the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Laboratory (LIACC). He was involved in the Directive Board of the Portuguese Association for Artificial Intelligence for ten years. He has more than 25 years of teaching experience in higher education, lecturing courses in the scientific domain of intelligent systems, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Multi-Agent Systems, and Natural Language Processing. He conducts research mainly in Natural Language Processing and has participated in several national and international research projects in this area.
