All information on this site is shared with the public so student profiles will be protected. Any information shared here should be done with the knowledge that this website is set up to be public facing and not to protect student identities or other sensitive information. A canvas classroom will be set up for exchange of personally identifiable items related to students and all students will receive sensitive information and meeting invitations through that.

About Me - Below is a quick outline of how I came to be your teacher! I tried to keep it to major life steps. Please let me know if you have questions about any of the portions of my journey, I am happy to share and provide advice!
Step #1 - College
After graduating from Jordan HS in Durham, I was accepted into NCSU's College of Engineering. Deciding to focus on Civil Engineering, I graduated in 2007 with a concentration in construction processes
Step #2 - Professional
I was hired out of college by HP as a Field Engineer and spent just under a year in Washington DC working on the Pentagon Renovation Project
Step #3 - Teacher
Deciding to follow my passion to be come a teacher, I returned to Raleigh and got my lateral entry teaching license through the NCSU NCTeach program. After two years in Chatham County Schools, I was hired to be a Science Teacher in WCPSS at Athens Drive
Step #4 - Current
I currently teach AP Physics and Forensics, and am the Varsity Swim Coach at ADMHS. I am also heavily involved in our STEM Energy and Sustainability Academy
