How will I get the books I purchase?

In-store pickup:
Once you receive an email letting you know the book(s) are ready, you can pick them up at Sparta Books, located at 29 Center Street in Sparta.

Shipping:
Books are shipped within the continental U.S. by media mail and will arrive 2-9 days after purchase. Pre-ordered books will ship within one day of arriving in the store.

I don't have a PayPal account, how can I purchase a book using a credit card?

At checkout, instead of clicking the yellow button that says "PayPal Check out" you can click the gray button under it that just says "Check Out".

I prefer not to pay online, how can I purchase a book?

Please call the store (973-729-6200) and let them know you would like to purchase a book for a virtual author event.

Why should I buy from Sparta Books instead of an online retailer?

Neighborhood businesses are an integral part of any local economy. These businesses provide job opportunities, purchase from nearby businesses and help stimulate the local economy through state and local taxes. They support the town schools, community organizations, sports programs, etc. that don’t get the attention of large corporations. When you buy local, you put your money where your heart is.
