Youth of Color Communications Fellowship
I have learend how to use digital communications and social media outlets to innovative and creative ways to help raise visibility of COLOR events, petitions, donation asks, action alerts. I also help promote stigma reduction by giving voice to real-life experiences (about abortion, STI/HIV positive living, young parenting, and more) through storytelling and other tactics. A historic momembet during my with COLOR is that we helped passed the Reproductive Health Equity Act!

I used skills of engaging and communications including attending community events (including staffing a table), attend invited events, flyer and canvas neighborhood support social media, TV/News/Radio/Print Media engagement.
