Driven by a passion for advancing education, I earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Mississippi State University, where I focused my research on enhancing computer science and AI literacy among middle schoolers through interactive, game-based instruction. I created board games, card activities, and hands-on tools to clarify computational concepts and foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
As an educator and tutor, I have taught, designed curricula, and trained teachers. I particularly value individualized tutoring, which adapts instruction to support each learner's needs and empowers students to gain confidence and autonomy in computer science and mathematics.
Above all, I enjoy teaching. I prioritize students’ growth and well-being, working to create encouraging environments where learners feel respected and motivated to reach their full potential. My mission is to expand access to computer science and AI education, particularly for underrepresented K–12 students.
Looking ahead, I aim to shape CS and AI education by designing inclusive, accessible, and inventive strategies that ensure learning is relevant and transformative.
