Anupam is from the Paschim Bardhaman district of West Bengal. He joined the School of Chemical Sciences at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Sciences (IACS), Jadavpur, Kolkata, as a CSIR Junior Research Fellow under the supervision of Prof. Ayan Datta. During his PhD, he computationally investigated the interactions between low-dimensional materials and bio-molecules, with a focus on screening nanotoxicity induced by these materials. His doctoral thesis, titled "Molecular Dynamics Simulations for Biomolecule-Nanomaterial Interactions", was successfully defended on February 25, 2025. Currently, his research focuses on the mathematical modelling of mechanotransduction through extracellular matrix.

Sanbed hails from Kolkata, West Bengal, where he completed his secondary, higher secondary and undergraduate education. In his postgraduate research in the group of Prof. Dipankar Bandopadhyay, he examined the microrheological properties of hyaluronic acid and 5CB utilizing particle tracking from microscopy images, spectroscopy techniques and viscoelastic models. He is currently interested in building mathematical models for three-dimensional assembly of cells. Aside from his research and academic endeavours, Sanbed is a passionate sportsman and an enthusiastic athlete, particularly in racquet sports, volleyball and swimming. His other interests include photography, reading, and travelling.
M.Sc, Biotechnology, Savitribai Phule Pune University
B.Sc, Biotechnology, St. Xaviers' College, Ranchi
Jayant is originally from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. His postgraduate research work focused on understanding inflammatory signaling pathways in colorectal cancer using mammalian cell lines. Currently, he is exploring cell migration on viscoelastic gradient substrates and developing mathematical models to investigate this phenomenon. Outside of research, he enjoys scaling treks, capturing moments through photography, and creating impactful visuals through graphic design.

Soumya comes from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Her master's research focused on the computational modelling and synthesis of nanoparticles for device fabrication. Currently, her work involves the development of a computational tool that integrates transport phenomena and tissue mechanics to model tissue development. This tool aims to generate digital tissues that replicate the dynamic structure and properties of real tissues, with potential applications in the design of artificial tissues and biomedical implants.
B.Tech, Biotechnology, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh
Pooja hails from Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, where she completed her schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sirmour. During her Bachelors, she developed a strong interest in the interface of biology and computation, working on a major project focused on early-stage diabetes prediction using machine learning. Currently, her research centers around developing mathematical and computational models to understand the behavior and dynamics of living cells in three dimensions specifically in the context of 3D bioprinting. Beyond her academic pursuits, Pooja enjoys playing volleyball and badminton in her free time. She also has a creative side and finds joy in drawing and sketching, which she considers both a hobby and a form of expression.
