While this is her first year as a stage manager, Romeo and Juliet serves as Anya’s 10th Saxon Stage production. In her four years at Langley, Anya has acted, worked on costumes, directed, stage managed, done publicity, and is now Co-Captain of the improv team. Almost all of her college activities resume was theater stuff, so if she gets into the schools she wants, it’s all thanks to Saxon Stage! She hopes you enjoy the show!
Muntaha Haq is in her senior year of high school and is a stage manager for Romeo and Juliet. She has participated in publicity of numerous Saxon Stage productions. Muntaha is best known as Langley High School’s lead critic of two years. Muntaha enjoys writing, directing, and acting. She is very excited to be stage manager for her final year of high school.
Teddy Spaner is a 15 year old literature and theatre nerd. Teddy currently does set, light, sound, and projection designs. His past productions include: Biloxi blues, Mamma Mia, Dr. Faustus (paper set), Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged! (paper set), 9-5, and a bunch of theatre for young audiences. For Romeo and Juliet, Teddy completed both the projection and sound design. In addition to theatre, Teddy also enjoys playing the violin and doing plenty of visual art.
Austin Young is a junior, and Romeo and Juliet is his first production with Saxon Stage. He doesn’t really know what tech crew he’s on, but hopes he has been useful to people. This is his first year at Langley, and he is very grateful to everyone in the theater program, especially Ms. Karasek, for making his transfer much easier than he had worried. He has really enjoyed the experience. When not doing tech things, he enjoys doing improv comedy, reading, and playing drums.
Jane Sullivan is a sophomore at Langley. This is her 2nd show and can’t wait to do more. In her free time she enjoys soccer, cooking/baking, and watching Netflix. She’s made so many new friends through the shows and would like to thank everyone, including her family for everything they’ve done.
Alyssa Medici is a junior, and Romeo and Juliet is her third show doing tech for Saxon Stage. She’s thrilled to currently be props head and to be able to work on Romeo and Juliet alongside some of her closest friends, new and old techies alike. She’d like to thank the cast and the amazing tech crew (of course), as well as her family, friends, and everyone else for their continued support.
Di’AN HAORONG BORJIGIN WANG is a sophomore at Langley High School (terrible school might she add). Yes she knows her name is aggressive but WHATCHA GONNA DO BOUT IT PUNK. On the topic of good companions, pumpkins r great for the job. Theyre also so cheeeeap. Liek at trader joes, the thicc pumpkins are $6.99, a big boi pumpkin is $5.99, tiny bois $1.99, and tiny tiny like tiny babys r .69 ¢. Trader joes has good shizz. Like their baguettes r bomb. dian bought a bagete once from traders and left it in her closet for a while cause she forgot bout it. she then brought it to school, and fought ppl w it. Cause it was rock solid. They also sell some very noice pasta. Their best pasta is the limited edition winter snowflake pasta, which is now discontinued, sad :( but thats the bestest pasta dians ever had and. ok yea.
Elisa Eiras is a sophmore at Langley, Romeo and Juliet is her third production with Saxon Stage and her second time on props. her favorite parts of tech are her friends, the good vibes, and Elizabeth Tippens.

Gus Hamberg, a senior, is very excited to be working on his 4th production with Saxon Stage! He has been studying makeup for the past 5 years, and can't wait for everyone to see the magic he and his crew create. His past productions include The Dining Room and Evita (Hair & Makeup, 2017-2018) and Mamma Mia! (Hair and Makeup Head, 2018-2019). He would like to thank Ms. K (for letting me buy too much makeup for the show), Ms. Hurd (for letting me play around with wigs), his invaluable crew (best students ever!), his family (for driving me to rehearsal), Mia (you're my makeup maverick!), and the entire cast and crew of this incredible production. Mia Mendonca is a sophomore, and this is her second production with Langley Saxon Stage. She is apart of the Hair & Makeup crew and has been apart of three other productions. Mia is very thankful for the friends and memories she has through tech, and can't wait for future Saxon Stage productions!
Anya Patel is very excited for her first time being in tech with Saxon Stage in the play Romeo and Juliet. She has had a wonderful experience in construction and makeup and hair as well as run crew. She is so happy to have met many new people and to have made so many new friends. She would like to thank her family and friends for being so supportive. She would also like to thank the wonderful cast and crew for being supportive and helping her learn everything she needed to know.
Mark Mahdessian (Ratthew) (Rattholomew) is in grade 12. Although this may be his first and last show with LHS theatre, his experience with LHS theatre ranges all the way back to his 9th grade year with LHS theatre, with a *small* break his 11th grade year from LHS theatre. He is the head for set construction for LHS theatre as well as helping on run crew, as to how that happened is unknown. I is also the “little” (even though I could beat him up) brother of the mighty Leo Mahdessian from LHS theatre.

Aidan Posada, is a sophomore at Langley high school. This is his first show working in construction, but he hopes it isn't his last.He has been working with construction for many years as his grandfather taught him the basics. Ever since Aidan takes every opportunity to tinker/ build mini projects with very little materials. Some of his hobbies are to play with his dogs and bike with his friends.
Ana Grajdeanu is a junior who has seen most, if not all, of the Langley productions. She decided that it would be interesting to not only see more plays, but to also partake in the creation of them. This is Ana’s first play in which she is helping the tech crew and so far she is loving the teamwork and friendships from the rest of the crew. She is looking forward to helping more in future plays.
Christy Gao is so excited to be returning to teach crew for this fall’s iconic play, Romeo and Juliet. As the costume head, she spends her time altering between costume and painting. Through Saxon Stage, she formed deep friendships with some of the most amazing people. She can’t wait to come back next season to create more wonderful memories with all the wonderful people!
Ella Smith is a sophomore currently doing her third show. She has done shows such as Biloxi Blues, Mamma Mia and is currently working on Romeo and Juliet. As a member on the costumes crew, she serves the role of making sure the actors correct clothes are backstage. She helps them with quick changes during their scenes and making sure they are prepared.
Bridget Lee is thrilled to be back on tech crew for her third production. She has spent most of her time viciously scrubbing paint out of her hair and clothes. Besides being covered in paint, she can also be found organizing the costume room or laughing at political t-shirts. She can’t wait for you to Shakespearience the show!
Mary Muir is the current head for lighting and co head for projections at Saxon Stage. As a sophomore she enjoys the *unique* experiences that come with theater, and she loves all the people there. In the little time she has outside of theater she plays volleyball, participates in Best Buddies, and stresses over school.
Kira Lentz is a sophomore this year and she is excited to be in her second Saxon Stage production. She mainly works in the booth with lighting and sound but also enjoys helping out with set construction. She is also excited to be in a production that doesn’t get ABBA soundtracks stuck in her head for weeks after. Also as a personal note for Alyssa Medici I will write in both 3rd and 1st person if I so wish.
Caolinh Pham is 17 years old, plays both the piano and cello, and composes. He goes to school at Langley High School, and is a member of Langley’s Philharmonic Orchestra. He has been a Levine Honors Program Member since 2012. He has performed piano at Carnegie Hall in 2016 and 2011, the Levine Winter Gala at National Geographic, the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center twice in 2015 and 2016, and the Mozarteum in Salzburg after being a winner of the Grand Prize Virtuoso competition. He has also voluntarily performed multiple times at the St. Johns United Methodist Church and participates in the Prelude Chamber Ensemble. He was a state winner of the MTNA composition competition in 2017 and 2018, and received a 5/5 on his AP Music Theory test in 2015. He studies at the Levine School of Music under his piano teacher, Ms. Cecilia Cho, his cello teacher, Mr. Van Osten, and his composition teacher, Mr. Sam Post.
Nima Razavi is a senior playing cello for the second time in the orchestra pit. He would like to thank his parents, Ms. Donahue for introducing him to the cello, and Cao Linh Pham, who composed the music for the show.
Claire Fulton is very excited to be performing in her second show with Saxon Stage. She played violin in Langley’s production of Evita and in the 2019 Cappies Gala orchestra. Claire is also heavily involved in orchestra at Langley and plays in a string quartet outside of school. She absolutely loves playing in the pit orchestra and since Romeo & Juliet isn’t typically performed with a string ensemble, she is excited to be doing something new and original.
Katie Dzwonczyk is a freshman this year and she plays the violin for Langley’s orchestra. She loves to sail, run, and bike in her free time. Romeo & Juliet is her first show and she is so excited to participate this year!
