Southern Africa Workcamps Cooperation (SAWC) meeting in harare has come to a powerful. It has been for collaboration, connection and collective impact.
GEPI Zimbabwe brought together local non government stakeholders, creating a dynamic space to share experiences, strengthen partnerships and reimagine the future of volunteerism across our region.
As prof Manda reminded us, real change is rooted in collaboration, cooperation and sharing. The introduction of the GIVE index marks a bold step forward giving us the tools to measure, amplify and showcase the true impact of voluntary action in shaping our communities, our countries and our continent.
And beyond the discussions and ideas, the heart of the event shone through with an unforgettable cultural performance by the children of Ruvheneko Primary School. Their energy pride ans joy were a powerful reminder of why we do this work.
Together, we are not just talking change we are building it.
