The career that I want to pursue is voice acting or software engineering. I chose this career during covid when I came across videos of a voice actor, and I was interested in the job then went into research of the job which caught my attention to coding and game design. Once I got into middle school I realized that I wasn't too bad and coding and liked doing it along with asking my dad about it who was gladly willing to teach me.
I took many classes that have really helped me pursue this. In 8th grade I took computer science. This class taught me Javascript, which is one of my favorite coding software. Then I took Ap Computer science in my freshmen year. Which taught me how to python, which at the beginning was hard to understand but over time made sense. I enjoy how you put more thought and time into this software. My time so far at the tech center has taught me to think outside the box. As engineer your job is come up solution\ for everyday to real world problems. You also must consider all constraint and limitations, whats practical? Does it make sense?
I do many things after school and in school that really taught me in many perspectives around my community. In school in my freshman year I was a part of the SGA (Student Government Association). I mainly work with a group of stinger buddies. This program was made to make events and games each month to bring those in ESEC and students together. I also helped make fundraisers. By doing this I got to know cool people in these classes and create fun memories. I also learned the importance of doing my part in projects such as this and planning ahead as well as being creative on each event done, being able to share my ideas and thoughts with others in the pod.
