Privacy Policy for Savora
Effective Date: 04 Aug 2026 Last Updated: 04 Aug 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Savora ("we," "our," "us," or the "App") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our mobile application. By using Savora, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you use Savora, you may enter:
Expense entries (amount, category, date, notes, optional attachments)
Budget limits and goals
Currency and regional preferences
This data is primarily stored locally on your device.
1.2 Backup and Sync Data (Firebase)
If you choose to enable backup, your financial entries and budget data are securely synced to Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and/or Firestore/Realtime Database, and Firebase Cloud Storage where applicable) so you can restore your data across devices or after reinstalling the App. This is optional and can be disabled in Settings.
Firebase is provided by Google LLC. Learn more about how Google handles data via Google's Privacy Policy.
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
When you use the App, certain technical information may be automatically collected, including:
Device type, operating system, and version
App usage statistics and crash logs
Advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID / IDFA)
Approximate location (if used for ad personalization or currency detection)
1.4 Purchase Information
If you subscribe to remove ads, purchase transactions are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your payment card details — this is handled entirely by Apple/Google according to their respective privacy policies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
Provide core budgeting and expense-tracking functionality
Back up and restore your data across devices (if enabled)
Send you notifications and reminders (e.g., upcoming budget alerts, bill reminders)
Display advertisements (banner and interstitial ads)
Process and manage your subscription (ad removal)
Improve app performance and fix bugs
Analyze usage trends to improve features
3. Advertising
Savora displays banner and interstitial advertisements through third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob. These networks may collect and use data (such as advertising identifiers and usage data) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
You may see ads unless you purchase our ad-removal subscription.
Depending on your region, you may be able to opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads) or through the Google Ads Settings page.
Third-party ad partners operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review:
4. Notifications
Savora may send you local notifications (e.g., budget limit alerts, reminders to log expenses, upcoming recurring expense reminders). These notifications are generated on your device and are not based on data shared with external servers unless backup sync is enabled. You can disable notifications anytime through your device settings.
5. Data Storage and Security
Local Storage: Most of your data (expenses, budgets, categories) is stored directly on your device.
Cloud Backup: If enabled, data is stored securely on Firebase servers with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:
Firebase (Google LLC) — for backup, sync, authentication, and crash reporting
Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements
Apple App Store / Google Play Store — for processing subscription payments
Law enforcement or regulators, if required by law
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
Access, correct, or delete your personal data
Withdraw consent for cloud backup at any time (Settings > Backup)
Opt out of personalized advertising
Request a copy of your data
Delete your account and associated backup data
To exercise these rights, contact us at softwareandstock@gmail.com.
7.1 Deleting Your Data
Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
To delete cloud-backed data, use the in-app "Delete My Data" option (if available) or contact us directly.
8. Children's Privacy
Savora is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States, through our use of Firebase and Google services. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
10. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account/backup is active, or as needed to provide the App's functionality. You may request deletion at any time as described in Section 7.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
