Wanted interactions: All the shows that can fit her bio/verses (including super-powers friendly ones and the bridgerton one)
Open to ship with: bi but mostly men, people she feels safe with, who share her love for the patients. Mohabbot is extra welcomed if there is chemistry and it's a slowburn. Robby and Dana are excluded.
Potential triggers: everything hospital-related, parents really didn't get along before her dad died, she's got trauma surrounding the way he was treated by the hospital staff, she has a heart condition, and I headcanon she had a few disastrous relationships with people who took advantage of her empathy. She's not clinically depressed nor generally suicidal, but she's crashing out for several reasons, on top of the fact that she often mirrors Robby and I could see her having few moments in between of 'what's the point'.
I am NOT a part of the Pitt fandom, I don't know popular theories nor ships, so don't give anything for granted but also I might say things that are considered blasphemies here and there is nothing we can do about it.
What does she have? Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which went undetected for years because it requires specific testing (the heart muscle gets thicker and it can eventually lead to arrhythmia and heart failure, but obviously it's not there yet for her). Whether you want your muse to be a part of this or to skip it, know that she ignores more episodes of chest pains and fatigue because 'it's just panic' until they worsen and the next EKG isn't as good. She finally has an echocardiogram, and that reveals her heart is in bad shape.
She needs to reduce stress, workload, and take meds. I want to explore 'what if the panic attack ends up revealing she does have a heart condition too and she has to take care of herself?'
She ends up being sort of a part-time doctor for the Pitt: 3-4 office hours, in which she conducts follow-up clinic for ER patients, plus monitoring light/mild cases in the ER, then 2-3 hours max of emergency care, day or night.
Know that we can also go through the angst trenches of her not disclosing that she has a heart problem and implying it's a psychological issue (panic attacks in general) to keep secretly working more than allowed, until your muse finds out.
Or we can skip to when she's adjusting to her new life if you prefer, or your muse can be involved in the diagnosis or be told soon after.
-more insecure than ever, especially once this condition changes her life, but also wanting to socialize. The way I see it, Samira is re-thinking everything, especially after after her fallout with her mother, and is scared of loneliness and having waited too long. She is very repressed and about to crash, a perfectionist, tried to do everything right, and all her sacrifices led to... a diagnosis that won't let her keep working every hour of the day. A diagnosis that also means living her life. In my head, her life will eventually, no matter what, take a more balanced road.
-I'm particularly open to shipping her with Abbot (as a slowburn) but I'd never expect/demand it from the other rper, in fact I'm super happy to write her platonic relationships too. However, a friendship is MORE than fine.
I also follow the actress' headcanon that Robby is a mentor/father-figure in a twisted way. FROM HER POV. This doesn't have to be reciprocated.
-she will be on the rooftop a few times, though, speaking of following Robby's footsteps.
to allow her to interact with other fandoms, her change of career becomes 'now she has a private business, she does home-care for people who are either rich enough to afford it, or very poor with chronic conditions and it's cheaper for the hospital to send Samira to perform a test than to send an ambulance to pick them and give them a spot in the ER'.
Obviously it's also based on how bad the injury/illness is, but this way she could be going anywhere (driving relaxes her) and have her medical supplies with her. That can even mean meeting first responders who are nearby to give an extra hand as a doctor.
Unless we are going straight up with 'powers' for the Marvel universe. She can't run around and fight due to her heart, but she could have inherited some kind of electricity-based power, which ironically could kill her if turned against her.
Which she'd also want to hide because we know it's once again life-altering, on top of dangerous, to be listed as a powered individual here. She gets picked up by SHIELD, gets some training to defend herself not only with powers but with weapons, but she doesn't want to be a spy so she attempts to return to her regular life... and trouble follows her.
Bridgerton: Her parents didn't get along and stopped sharing a bedroom almost right away, so she's an only child who lost her father at 13 and was not presented to society because 'frail', her symptoms more obvious from a young age. Samira's weak heart made her want to study medical books to learn more about the human body (of course, in secret, since a lady was not meant to work, and in any case there would be no female doctors) and she used her knowledge to help whoever she could while also ready to dedicate her life to her mother as a spinster; instead, her mother finds love, re-marries and leaves to travel, placing her in her cousin's home, so Samira finds herself at loss of what to do with her life, but also re-entering society to accompany and chaperone her young cousins.
