Why does this website exist?

When the TA closed and was put on the market there was concern that either it would fall into disrepair or a property developer would purchase it and seek to develop it as residential.

An informal group wanted top ensure that the TA continued as a pub.

Who are the authors and who is running this website?

David Cornwell, Janet Horton and Bill Clark form the initial group and David Cornwell has done a lot of the research and developed the website.
