We Need Your Help

Friends and supporters, we want to let you know again how grateful we are for your support over the last 7 months as we fight to defend the legacy of St. Philip School. Today, we are reaching out to ask for more of your support. As you know, we have appealed one ruling to the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura, and soon will be appealing the more recent ruling denying our appeal of the School’s closure. At this stage of the legal proceedings, canon law requires that we retain the services of an advocate authorized to practice before the Supreme Tribunal. Naturally, that advocate charges for his services, and it will cost us several thousand dollars at a minimum.

You can help us defray that cost by making financial contributions directly to the St. Joseph Foundation, run by our U.S. canonical counsel, Philip Gray. Mr. Gray will then coordinate payment of our Italian advocate. Please note that these contributions will NOT be tax-deductible because they are being made for the purpose of compensating for legal services rendered.

If you are able and willing to make a contribution for this purpose, we ask that you let us know once you have made a contribution (we do not need to know the amount) by emailing us at savesps2021@gmail.com. Or, for those who know committee members personally and would prefer to contact one of us directly to let us know of your contribution, feel free to do that instead. We will, of course, keep this information strictly confidential between us and Mr. Gray.
