Raising Awareness

• In the occasion of the international day for the elimination of violence against women, Yana wrote a speech/text for all teachers to read in their classes regarding FGM (and aside, regarding the Mirabal sisters). We also put flyers on different places of the school raising awareness about FGM. → Our school has a specific place where we can post all things regarding equality; here we have also been able to put flyers raising awareness on FGM.

• At the beginning of the 2026 year, Marilou, Clara and Yana have been able to host two events during lunch aiming at raising awareness on FGM. These lasted around 15 minutes and started with a short video from Excision, parlons-en.
