On August 13, 2026, UCLA announced plans to close the Early Care and Education Program (ECE) and University Parents Nursery School (UPNS) at the end of the academic year. Together, these programs serve hundreds of UCLA families.
We are coming together as students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to protect access to childcare and ensure affected families have a meaningful voice in decisions that impact their lives.
