Save The Seals At La Jolla

Scroll Down To See What The Two Differences Are Between The Children's Pool And The Rocks

The Childrens Pool

The Childrens Wall Ranks In On #10 of 54 things to do in La Jolla

It Is A Great Place To See The Seals.

During Pupping Season, From About January To May, You Can See The Whole Lifecycle Of Seals Going On, You Can See The Mothers Giving Birth, Nursing Their Pups, And Weaning Them Off Milk. Just Remember That You Have To Stay Far Away From The Moms And Pups Because The Moms Will Sadly Abandon Their Pups And They Don't Wanna Be Disturbed

The Rocks

The Rocks Don't Rank Anywhere On The 54 things to do in La Jolla,

The Rocks Are A Great Way To Observe The Sea Lions, Just Make Sure You Stay On The Paths By The Rocks Because It Is A Very Dangerous Place, Between The Sea Lions And Crashing Waves You Can Get Injured Very Easily. "Rogue Waves" Sometimes Blow Through There And Even If An Area Doesn't Look Wet, You Could Still Get Swept Away.

The Sea Lions Are Known For Sleeping In Dog Piles, And Barking.

DO NOT GO UP AND TOUCH THEM! THEY CAN AND WILL BITE ANYONE WHO TOUCHES THEM! The Sea Lions Are Just Like Humans And Need Rest, So They Sleep, For Long Periods Of Time, And When They Rest, People Just Love To Take Pictures With Them And Touch Them. That Is The Type Of Behavior That Will Get You Bitten, So Don't Do It

People Have Expressed Their Outrage Over The Internet And In Person But The Authorities Have Not Listened.

Pepper Says: Why can't humans find something else to do, what is wrong with you? Why don't you pick on each other if you want to pick on something instead of an innocent animal.

Marie Says: People are so ignorant. the seals must be protected. the children also should be protected from the seals who are, it must be remembered, wild animals. as it is obvious that their ignorant parents are so stupid and lacking in common sense that they are incapable of doing so.

Kate Says: Would any person want to be harassed all the time for the perverse entertainment of others? No, and neither do the seals. Animals do not exist for the amusement of people who do not think that maybe it is not just them stopping to gawk but that are others all day long who do the same. Let them look but there must be a limit on how close they can go. It is disruptive and stressful for the seals and people do not think but just do what they want because they are humans and fell entitled.

Tor-Ane Says: This is animal cruelty, and must be stopped NOW before seals get hurt or killed because of stress and cruel people that dont care about anything else than a photo!!! Leave this incredible seals alone in pease!!

Roseanne Says: These animals should be protected, THIS ABUSE MUST STOP! WAKE UP STOP IT!!!

Lafont Says: Poor cowardly fools, that humans who do not respect all these innocent and defenseless lives that we should protect and love!

Julia Says: Why can't tourists let the seals rest? The animals are probably also very stressed
