I have created an Facebook developer account and added iOS platform and provided necessary details in that and then clicked on the button 'Save Changes' and changes are saved perfectly but when I added Android platform and gave hash key and then clicked on the 'Save Changes',changes are not saved and Android platform is not being added.

I am using expo facebook authentication for my app. I tried loggin in using iOS mobile, it's working perfectly but when I tried logging in using Android mobile, it's not working. Pop is not shown and error message 'Facebook Login Error: Error: An error occurred while trying to log in to Facebook' is being printed.

With an existing name I was able to save, and when editing putting the fake package name, it showed that the name may not be valid, but allowed saving (as opposed when adding the platform, that gave no feedback whatsoever and didn't allow saving the platform).

Before we get to permanently downloading videos from Facebook, though, there may be times when you simply want to save a video within Facebook so you can more easily watch it later. Think of it like "bookmarking" a video.

You can't download a video to your phone using the ordinary Facebook app, but there are a number of third-party apps that make it possible to save the video directly to your phone's Camera Roll. One app that works particularly well for both Android and iPhone users is Friendly Social Browser.

So, via the website, you cannot do it, because of the privacy settings that restrict access from outside. Using SaveFrom.net Helper, you can download private videos right from the social network page you are at.

If the live video streaming is not finished, you cannot download it. You need to wait until the live streaming stops and is stored on the servers of the social media. Only when it is saved, it will be available for downloading.

Usually, it happens infrequently. If you try to download Facebook videos and it opens in a new tab and starts playing, do not worry. Just right click and choose the "Save As" option from the contextual menu. The downloading process will start at once.

No! Our free Facebook downloader does not store or save any videos you download. All videos are exclusively stored on Facebook servers. We provide a search function that retrieves all available direct URLs to these videos, which remain on Facebook's servers. By accessing these links, you can directly download the videos from the social media platform's servers.

The FB video downloader supports various video qualities, including SD, HD, FullHD, 2K, and 4K, most commonly in MP4 format. The video quality is determined by the original source file uploaded by the author. If the video was uploaded in 1080p, you can save it from Facebook in the same high quality.

Our online Facebook video downloader extension is specifically designed for desktop browsers. If you want to download Facebook videos on an Android mobile phone or tablet, you can visit our website using the phone's browser or use the Android app to save the video.

I was having problems connecting to FB. So I was told to delete the apps and reinstall. But now my ipad won't save my password and I have to keep re-entering it. It's a pain. There's not even an option to save it anymore. Where did it go? I already went into settings and the whole auto fill thing. Doesn't matter. Didn't work.. Any suggestions?...

My husband and I both upgraded to the S7 this past weekend. He cannot save photos from FB to his phone. At first it just wasn't saving the photo with no notification so I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Now instead of doing nothing is says "Error saving the photo!" The odd thing is I am not having this issue... Please help?

Appreciate you reaching out to the community about this, Paulazambo13. Regarding attempting to save photos from Facebook, do experience the same issue when attempting to save from both the app version of Facebook, and accessing Facebook.com via the browser?

Recently I begrudgingly created a Facebook account after receiving an invite to a group that is work related and I couldn't really say no. Everything was working fine but I decided to change my password and since then it has been a pain to log in using 1Password. Every time I try it tells me the password was updated and it's not accepting the password from the browser extension but if I go and copy the password from the main application it works fine.

The strange thing is that I can press on the anchor symbol and copy it from the browser extension which works. It just won't log in normally and tells me I have used an old password, so it feels like a bug in 1Password that is not updating the password properly.

@Drew_AG I actually tried that before and it updated the existing login within 1Password itself, however those changes are never carried back to the browser extension when attempting a normal login. It's perplexing because if I copy them manually from the browser extension it's correct.

The steps to manually save a new Login won't update an existing Login item - instead, they'll have you create a brand new Login item for that site, completely separate from the original Login item (although they'll both have your same login credentials, of course). This can be useful for logins that have stopped working correctly. Saving a new Login item allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page.

Can you please follow the steps from that link to create a new Login item in 1Password for that Facebook account? Once you do that, refresh the login page, then try to have 1Password fill your info using the new Login item you just created. Does that make a difference?

When I save a Facebook web page and then open the resulting file, all I get is the text and images with no formatting of any kind. The problem started in August after I updated MacOS. Same problem opening older saved Facebook pages.

For the older saved pages, one possible explanation might be a security fix in Firefox 68 which restricts the kinds of files that pages can load (and methods of loading) when you open them from a file:// URL. This change was made to prevent exfiltration of valuable data within reach of a local page, as demonstrated in an available exploit. More info:

Hi Claude, when I try saving a page from FB (it wasn't my news feed), the saved page looks like Facebook, except that I don't get anything below the compose box, even though Firefox has stored images from those posts and seemingly dozens of other files. There's something a little too complex about the page maybe?

For some reason I am am unable to use the share & save function on my buisness facebook page. I get the message: "user opted out of platform" but for the life of me, I have no idea how to "opt in". Anyone know about this?

@ButterCatCo It depends on where you do what. If you are in the social media section of Etsy, you need to be on your PERSONAL page in facebook and it will give you the option to choose whether you post to personal or business page. The other thing you can do is just copy the link of whatever you want to share and paste it into FB (that's the easiest thing to do).

You can download a video from Facebook as long as it has been set to public. Windows, Mac, and Android users just need to copy and modify the video link, while iPhone users have to use a third-party app like MyMedia.

Facebook also has a Save video option that appears when you click on the three-dot icon at the top of the video post. However, this does not really save the video on your device, but merely saves it on the app so you can watch it later.

I've been able to generate passwords and retrieve those passwords from my Vault for every single windows laptop and android app EXCEPT Facebook. My guess is this a known issue. Any tips or workarounds that I should be aware of. The clear cache and refresh site features have no effect. Thanks

To be sure I understand the issue you're running in to, are you not seeing the LastPass popup on Facebook to try to save your Facebook login credentials, or is LastPass not autofilling your credentials when logging in to Facebook?

To view your saved items, go to your Home screen (not your own timeline, but Home) and look at the menu on the left-hand side. Below your shortcuts, under Explore, is a new Saved section, with the number of saved posts next to it (this only appears when you have saved at least one post):

This article has shared how to save a Facebook post, as well as how to un-save it and how to view your saved Facebook posts. If you have found this interesting and useful, please do share it using the buttons below, or leave a comment.

Before you post anything to your Facebook business page, you will probably want to preview it to see how it will look. This can be done when by saving the post as a draft. The video will teach you how to save drafts on Facebook, so you can preview your posts before publishing them. e24fc04721
