Savannah started her St. Jude Project in 2016 as an idea to give back to the children of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for her 16th Birthday instead of a Sweet 16 Party. It quickly grew into a something bigger than any of us ever expected.
Savannah has been recognized over the past few years for her Savannah's St. Jude Project. She has been featured on the radio, in the press, and last year was honored as one of the 2018 Young Leaders for The Atlantic City Press.
Our goal for 2020 is to double our donations. These items cannot be passed from patient to patient, so supplies are always low. We would love to be able to deliver just as many items for the kids but also bring a check donation for the hospital to use. When a child is treated at St. Jude, families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all they should worry about is helping their child live. Even if its for one day, we want to bring some joy and excitement to these kids and their parents.
