March, 2026: I was invited to speak at the Jueves del Egresado seminar organized by the Faculty of Engineering at the Universidad de Antioquia, Colombia (my alma mater). Together with my colleague Juliana Mejía Sepúlveda, we shared our experiences as Ph.D. students abroad and discussed opportunities and challenges for students interested in international research careers.

January, 2026: I am truly honored to have been selected as a Chapter Scientist for the IPCC Seventh Assessment Report (AR7), specifically for Working Group II (Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability), Chapter 1: Point of Departure and Key Concepts.
