Research Interest
I specialize in the area of understanding the working of cellulolytic enzymes and engineer them to function better. Apart from that I am also interested in the enzymatic degradation of plastics by microorganisms. My research mainly revolves around recombinant DNA technology and synthetic biology. My research aims at recovery of as much energy and value as possible from lignocellulosic and plastic wastes.
