👨🏻‍💻About Me

I am currently a Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at Department of Computational and Data Sciences, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, where I am working on foundational models in federated settings, specifically applied to medical and healthcare domains.

I have completed my Ph.D. from Data Analytics & Network Science (DANeS) Lab, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna, where my research focused on developing efficient and robust techniques for knowledge distillation, including architectural and loss-based enhancements. I was also awarded the Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF) from 2021 to 2024.

Previously, I worked at KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad as Assistant Professor, and served as a System Engineer Intern at Myntra Designs Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru. Also I served as Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Medical Imaging Group (MIG), Department of Computational and Data Sciences, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru and as Research Staff Member at Translational AI for Networked Universal Healthcare The AI Centre of Excellence in Healthcare Funded by Ministry of Education, Government of India at IISc Bengaluru in 2025.

My academic journey began at the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM), Gwalior, where I completed my Integrated Post Graduate, i.e., B.Tech + M.Tech. (You can find my B.Tech thesis here.)

I am passionate about building innovative and optimized AI solutions that contribute to a safer, smarter, and more educated society. I am currently exploring multiple domains within Computer Science that align with real-world impact, including: Knowledge distillation and model compression,Federated and privacy-aware learning and Multimodal and healthcare AI applications.
