Saurabh Rathore's lab works on the Global Ocean with an interest in the Southern Ocean. We work on the detection and attribution of global and regional ocean warming, sea level rise, ocean circulation, watermass changes and transformations, marine heatwaves, compound extreme events, mesoscale eddies, global and regional hydrological cycle, ocean and climate modelling, and machine learning.

I am looking for motivated Ph.D. students with a strong background in Oceanography/Atmospheric/Climate Science/Physics/Mathematics to tackle challenging questions related to the role of oceans in climate with good coding skills in Python/Matlab/NCL. Apply through the IIT Delhi application portal.
