Assistant Director(ICT)
Bangladesh Bank
(The Central Bank of Bangladesh)
About
I pursued a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) from 2010 to 2015. I serve as the Assistant Director (ICT) at Bangladesh Bank, where I oversee the nation's monetary and financial systems. Since November 2020, I have contributed to the development and maintenance of our Treasury Management System, which manages financial transactions, generates Swift Messages, and oversees various instruments like bonds and foreign exchange operations. I worked as a Senior Officer at Sonali Bank PLC, enhancing efficiency in network and software operations, including RTGS and loan processing. Previously, at AppsCode Ltd. Dhaka, I contributed to Kubernetes projects and migrated code to improve tool integration and cloud-native backup solutions as a Software Engineer.
Research Interest
Machine Learning, Data Mining, Natural Language Processing.
Research Motivation
In my current role, I encounter challenges with increasingly voluminous transactional data, making analysis and insights more complex over time. My team and I developed a core banking system (CBS) for the central bank, which has heightened my interest in leveraging advanced analytics to predict market trends. I believe that applying machine learning techniques, including natural language processing and deep learning, can significantly enhance our ability to extract valuable insights from this data and drive more informed decision-making.
