Research
Most of what I do involves the development and application of Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Pattern Recognition algorithms in problems where data can be described by both numerical and non-numerical attributes. However, I have also participated as Scientific advisor in analysis and data modeling projects that involve the use of techniques such as Mathematical Optimization, Probabilistic Graphical Models, and decision models based on Game Theory.
Current research interest
My current research covers studies on Pattern Recognition, Data Science, Data Mining, and Data Preprocessing. Specifically, my research topics include:
Unsupervised Learning Algorithms
Dimensionality Reduction Algorithms
Supervised and Unsupervised Feature Selection
Mixed Data Analysis
Text Mining
