Teaching & Mentorship

Served as a Teaching Assistant for the ME306 (Applied Thermodynamics) catering to 70+ third-year undergrads and CH 111 (Physical Chemistry) catering to 150+ first-year undergrads. Conducted regular help sessions for addressing queries and formulated questions for examinations. 

Serving as an Institute Student Mentor, selected through rigorous screening procedures. The Institute Student Mentorship Program (ISMP) aims at developing a smooth transition to campus life for every new entrant to an academic program at IIT Bombay. It is an initiative of the SMP within the student community which primarily deals with mentorship for the first-year undergraduate students. Mentors help solve students' academic and personal problems while on campus, and guide them through the first year of college life away from home.

Volunteered teaching 9th-grade science to the underprivileged students at the Logic center and community welfare association, Mumbai under the Educational Outreach initiative of NSS, IIT Bombay

Served as a System Engineer for IITB Student Satellite Program, leading and managing an interdisciplinary 3-tier team of 30+ students.  Ensured implementation of QA practices & team’s version control guidelines for better organization, and conducted recruitment to select 25 out of 250+ applicants.

IITB Student Satellite Program is a landmark project with the goal to convert IIT Bombay into a centre of excellence in Satellite and Space technology. The team is currently working on developing and testing a 3U CubeSat mission along with an Antenna Deployment System (SANKET) and a Star Tracker-based Attitude Determination System (STADS). The Ham radio club of the institute also functions under IITBSSP conducting amateur radio club activities and events.

DCAMP is an initiative by the Mechanical Engineering Association (MEA) at IIT Bombay, where third-year students are assigned a mentor to help them navigate the internship season. Mentored a group of three students assigned to me, giving them a better perspective of the career opportunities in different fields and advising them on doubts/queries related to the same.
