Dr. Satyananda Mohapatra is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Bhattadev University, Bajali, Assam, India. He has extensive teaching and research experience in Applied Mathematics with specialization in Numerical Analysis, Fluid Dynamics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Fractional Calculus and Computational Mathematics. His current research focuses on mathematical modeling and numerical simulation of non-Newtonian nanofluid flows, fractional differential equations and advanced numerical methods for scientific and engineering applications.

Dr. Mohapatra has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals and has actively contributed to the academic community by presenting invited and contributed talks at numerous national and international seminars, conferences, workshops and faculty development programmes. His research emphasizes the development of efficient computational techniques for solving complex mathematical models arising in science and engineering.

In addition to his research pursuits, he is deeply committed to quality teaching, curriculum development and mentoring students. He also has a growing interest in the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) and its relationship with mathematics, aiming to integrate traditional knowledge with contemporary mathematical education and research. Through his academic endeavors, he strives to promote excellence in teaching, research and lifelong learning.
