Teaching
CHEM F341 : Chemical Experimentation II
This course exposes students to a variety of experimental methods commonly used in Chemistry. The students engage in hands-on experiments spanning analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, nano-chemistry, electrochemistry, physical chemistry, and theoretical/computational chemistry.
CHEM F211: Physical Chemistry-I
This is the first of four Physical Chemistry courses in the integrated M.Sc. Chemistry Programme. It covers the laws of thermodynamics and explores their applications in phase equilibrium, reaction equilibrium, and electrochemistry.
CHEM F111: General Chemistry
This introductory chemistry course is tailored for first-year undergraduate students and consists of two parts. The first part offers a broad overview of electronic structures of atoms and molecules, spectroscopy, bonding, and Coordination Chemistry. The second part emphasizes understanding the structure and properties of organic compounds, along with NMR.
BITS F111: Thermodynamics
This course is designed for the first year undergraduate students. It covers the concepts and laws of thermodynamics; thermodynamic properties; applications to closed and open systems; entropy and entropy generation etc.
