Abstract Submission

Abstract Submission Guidelines for SATVA 2025

We invite you to submit abstracts aligned with the theme of SATVA 2025: Water and Sustainability, covering (but not limited to) the following topics:
a) Water Reuse
b) Resource Recovery and Management
c) Agriculture
d) Climate Change

Please submit your abstract using this google form, indicating whether you are interested in an oral or poster presentation. If you are not selected for an oral presentation, please mention whether you would still like to be considered for a poster presentation.

Important Notes:

1. Please ensure that your abstract does not exceed 250 words 

2. Corresponding author must register to present the work upon acceptance of the abstract.
   
   

3. If you plan to attend the symposium regardless of whether your poster is selected for exhibition, you may register as soon as you submit your poster.
   
   

4. If you wish to attend only if your poster is accepted for exhibition, we recommend waiting until you receive a formal acceptance email before registering.
   
   

Refer to the important dates section for submission and notification deadlines. You will receive an email from the organizing committee (essence.symposium@gmail.com) informing you of the outcome of your submission—whether accepted for oral or poster presentation—by the date specified for abstract acceptance notifications.

Instructions for Accepted Abstracts

Once your abstract has been accepted for exhibition, please ensure the following:

1. Registration

1. Complete your registration and pay the applicable registration fee promptly.

2. Oral Presentations

1. If your abstract has been accepted for an oral presentation, prepare a talk of approximately 7 minutes.

2. You must upload your presentation file on the first day of the symposium. Volunteers at the registration desk will be available to assist you.
   
   

3. Poster Presentations

If your abstract has been accepted for a poster presentation, please follow the guidelines below:

1. Orientation: Portrait

2. Size: A1

3. Minimum Font Size: 32 pt (no restriction on maximum font size)

4. You are responsible for printing and displaying your poster. The organizing committee will provide display boards, clips, tapes, and other necessary materials.

5. Posters should remain displayed throughout the symposium (9:00 AM to 4:30 PM on 11th & 12th July 2025).

6. If you are participating in the poster competition, you must be present near your poster during the designated poster session.

7. Please ensure that your poster is removed from the display board at the end of the symposium.
