Sattvik Overview

Spreading the Aesthetic of Indian culture through different form of indian art is what Sattvik Kala Academy aims to do. While rooting this we ensure that the purity (सात्त्विकता) of any art form should not be suppress. At present sattvik is educating and promoting Kathak.

The origin of kathak is from uttarpradesh, its one of the eight indian classical dance form. In kathak you will find the blend of both abhinay shashtra and nritya shashtra.

Sattvik Kala Academy also holds affiliation from Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya and conduct examination through Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.

Importance of Art ( Kathak)

Art is a very important aspect for overall development of child/ individual.It helps to grow our vision, imagination.
Kathak helps a child / individual to work on his/her concentration skill and memory skill while also helps to have a good hold on laya and taal.
Kathak also explore different languages like Sanskrut and Braj through shlok and different bandish.
And while learning something new we also grow our self confidence and presentation skill.
