Our research team just completed a scoping review and found that over the past decade (2010-2020) ONLY 15 peer reviewed studies looked at how we teach tackle technique. There have been hundreds of studies on concussions and head injuries during that same timeframe. Subscription based programs like USA Football (R) and ATAVUS (R) are leading the way on training coaches; but no one is measuring player performance. Since 2015 we've been collecting a database of tackle form video recordings and looking for new and better ways we can identify and measure "safe" tackle form. As a result of more than 700 interactions with players, parents and coaches, we want to give the knowledge, technology to the players who need it the most YOUTH FOOTBALL.
This monthly webinar is designed to help YOUTH FOOTBALL parents/coaches learn best practices for teaching tackle technique; identify common faults; provide corrective cues to improve technique, most of all measure player skill development.
