Why is there both this website and a "satojapanese.com"?
Many years ago, a customer made a website on our behalf. We have never had direct access to the website. We unfortunately do not have the ability to update menu prices on there or to delete the website.
Did you change prices recently? Why is it more expensive?
Yes, we updated our prices in July 2023. Everything is becoming more expensive, and we can not sustain our 40+ year long family-run restaurant without increasing prices. Thank you for your understanding and support!
Do you have online ordering?
Unfortunately, no. Please order by calling (925) 462 - 3131.
Do you take Apple Pay or Google Pay (any touchless payment)?
Yes, we can support touchless payment!
Do you take reservations for parties over the phone?
We are not taking any reservation requests (and we don't check our voice messages). It's entirely first come, first serve! We hope we can still accomodate your group!
Do you have a Facebook Page?
Yes! Find us at https://www.facebook.com/satojpcuisine/. It is not updated very often, however.
