Why is there both this website and a "satojapanese.com"?

• Many years ago, a customer made a website on our behalf. We have never had direct access to the website. We have no idea who created it. We have no power to update menu prices on there or to delete the website. 

Did you change prices recently? Why is it more expensive?

• Yes, we updated our prices in July 2023. Everything is becoming more expensive, and we can not sustain our 35+ year long family-run restaurant without increasing prices. We are close to closing if distributor costs keep rising. 

Do you have online ordering?

• Unfortunately, no. Please order by calling (925) 462 - 3131. 

Do you take Apple Pay or Google Pay (any touchless payment)?

• At this moment, no. If you don't have a physical card, we can take card number/important information and charge with that.

Do you take reservations for parties over the phone?

• We are not taking any reservation requests (and we don't check our voice messages). It's entirely first come, first serve! We hope we can still accomodate your group!

Do you have a Facebook Page? 

• Yes! Find us at https://www.facebook.com/satojpcuisine/. It is not updated very often, however.
