I grew up in India, but life has since taken me through the UK, the Philippines, the US, and now Hong Kong. Along the way, I’ve picked up not just degrees and experiences, but friendships that often spill over into my research—making work feel more like an ongoing conversation with friends.
Outside of academics, cricket is my great obsession. I follow it with such devotion that my wife, Swati, jokes it’s my first love (and she might not be entirely wrong!). When I’m not glued to a match, I enjoy tennis and indulging my inner foodie by cooking—though my “experiments” often end in disasters that Swati patiently endures.
Through all of this, my friends and family, especially my lovely wife, have been my anchor, giving me the love and support that makes every place I’ve lived feel like home. At heart, I remain a global citizen—shaped by each culture I’ve been lucky to experience, and grounded by the people who matter most.
