The 2026-2027 SAC Elections are around the corner!

If you are interested in becoming a candidate, please fill out the Primary Application by Friday, May 15th @ 9:00AM! Responses will be reviewed and further information will be provided through individual student email.

All applicants, please also attend our election meeting Friday, May 15th @ The Start of Lunch in Rm 236. We will be covering important information regarding campaigns and election ballots.

🌴 SATEC SAC Spring Bash 2026: Tropical Miami 🌴

Hey Porter! Thanks for attending our Miami Tropical-themed Spring Bash Dance!

We appreciate everyone who showed up and helped make this event possible!

Special thanks to our dance subcommittee leads, Kosta, Dikshya, Tanai, Qirat, and Aishshani, for working hard on this event!

Thank you to all the council members who supported and fulfilled their duties during the dance!

Thank you to Dr. Wasylnka, stage crew, and all the supervising teachers for helping make this dance possible. We couldn't have done it without you all!

We thank the SATEC student body, teachers, and staff that participated in the 2025-26 SAC Winter Spirit Week. Your school spirit continues to help make events like these possible! ❄️☃️

‼️Here's a recap of the days & events within December 15 - 19 ‼️

Dec. 15 - Multicultural Monday & Stocking Distribution

Students dressed in cultural attire to represent their backgrounds, highlighting SATEC’s community and its rich culture and diversity 🌎🗺️

Stockings were also distributed, with students receiving a stocking bag based on whether they were naughty or nice 🎅🎁

Dec. 16 - Twin Tuesday

Students dressed alike with their friends for Twin Tuesday, from matching outfits to subtle similarities! 👯🫂

SAC's Teacher VS SAC Spicy Noodle Challenge was also held in the cafeteria! Where your elected grade representatives Aisha, Odicho, Huzaifa and Tanai faced off against Mr. Hobson, Ms. Amirthalingam, Mr. Ma and Mr. Lemon. Both parties fought hard, and fiercely but in the end, the teachers brought home the win! 🍜🌶️

Dec. 17 - Mathletes VS Athletes Day

Students showed off their school spirit by dressing up as either an athlete or a mathlete, bringing fun competition and creativity to the halls. Which side would you choose? 🏀📐

Dec. 18 - Throwback Thursday

Students took a trip back in time for Throwback Day, rocking old school outfits and styles from past decades with vintage fits and classic vibes! ⏰💽

Dec. 19 - Festive Friday 

Students wrapped up the week with Festive Friday, wearing their holiday best in green, white, and red while spreading cheerful vibes throughout the school. From cozy sweaters to festive accessories, SATEC was full of holiday spirit all day long 🎄✨

SAC also hosted a winter Photo Booth featuring a custom gingerbread house backdrop and Christmas accessories, giving students the chance to take Polaroids and create lasting memories! 📸🎄

Wear your festive attire or wear red, white, & green! Also, check out our upcoming photobooth event in the auditorium! 🎄❤️
