The Sudanese and South Sudanese Student Association (SASSSA) at the University of North Carolina celebrates, empowers, and connects students of Sudanese and South Sudanese heritage through community, culture, and advocacy—while fostering understanding and unity across the university community.

We are a student-led organization dedicated to sharing the rich cultures, histories, and perspectives of Sudan and South Sudan. We strive to create an inclusive environment for all students interested in learning about and supporting the Sudanese and South Sudanese experience at UNC.
