week 1 artifacts: strategies and examples of 3-2-1 task
This artifact is helpful when using the 3-2-1 task to inspire students to think critically about a task or topic. This could be modified into a useful assessment tool.
Here are some examples of how to modify the 3-2-1 task into an assessment tool for students. Below is a link of more resource related to 3-2-1 task.
week 2 artifact: Growing and Success document
The grow and success document has a range of great resource to use when considering assessment tasks, tools, and resources. It includes policies and frameworks that cam be used as a foundation when building meaningful and impactful assessment.
Week 3 Artifact: Classroom assessment process for students and parents
This curriculum link is a good resource for different types of assessment pieces. There are also a lot of videos a teacher could go over with students to demonstrate why assessment matters for their students success.
This could be a good resource or even ideas for teachers to consider to administrate to parents at the beginning of the year. you could also modify this PowerPoint and upload it to a Google classroom or sites with more information about assessment so parents have a basis understanding of how their child will be assessed at school.
Design Reflection
The 5 W's of why for assessment is a good tool to challenge and understand the goal of assessment as a teacher, and make sure that the assessment align with the learning goal and criteria's. This is a good place for a teacher to use to revise and reflect on assessment tasks to make ensure they are meaningful for students demonstration of understanding.
week 4: Assessment Tool Ranking Checklist
This assessment tool is an example of a student and teacher assessment checklist that can be implemented in class for student self-assessment and teacher assessment of a student. To ensure this tool is being administrated to students successfully, ensure students complete it independently, and observe/ take notes of the process of how students mark themselves. Self-assessment is a good tool for teachers to gage students reflection over themselves, and a good way to check in with how students feel they are performing in school and its important for teachers to have this in mind when reviewing students self-assessments.
