Venue and practical information

By plane

Venice is served by two airports: Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) and Treviso Airport (TSF).

• From VCE to Venice: 

  • Bus service: ACTV Line 5 or ATVO Line 35 are airport-to-Piazzale Roma routes. The San Giobbe Campus can then be reached on foot in around 20 minutes.

  • Water bus (vaporetto) service: Alilaguna Linea Arancio (Orange Line); get off at "Guglie" stop, then walk to the San Giobbe Campus.  

• From TSF:

  • Bus service: ATVO line 351 (Treviso Airport Bus Express); get off in Piazzale Roma and then walk to the San Giobbe Campus;

  • Joint bus and train ticket: Trenitalia offers a joint bus- (Treviso Airlink from TSF to Treviso train station) and train ticket (from Treviso to Venezia S. Lucia station).

By train

Venice’s main train station, Venezia S. Lucia, has numerous connections with other Italian cities. You can check available routes on the Trenitalia and Italo websites.

By car

The historic centre of Venice is car-free. However, you can drive to Piazzale Roma and park in one of the available garages, such as Tronchetto Parking). Alternatively, you may park on the mainland, for example at Park San Giuliano and continue to Venice by public transport.
