By plane
Venice is served by two airports: Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) and Treviso Airport (TSF).
From VCE to Venice:
From TSF:
Bus service: ATVO line 351 (Treviso Airport Bus Express); get off in Piazzale Roma and then walk to the San Giobbe Campus;
Joint bus and train ticket: Trenitalia offers a joint bus- (Treviso Airlink from TSF to Treviso train station) and train ticket (from Treviso to Venezia S. Lucia station).
By train
Venice’s main train station, Venezia S. Lucia, has numerous connections with other Italian cities. You can check available routes on the Trenitalia and Italo websites.
By car
The historic centre of Venice is car-free. However, you can drive to Piazzale Roma and park in one of the available garages, such as Tronchetto Parking). Alternatively, you may park on the mainland, for example at Park San Giuliano and continue to Venice by public transport.
The campus has two entrances:
Ponte Valeria Solesin: About half-way on Platform 1 at the Santa Lucia railway station turn right at the sign “Uscita San Giobbe – Università” and follow the path until you reach the bridge called Ponte Valeria Solesin. After crossing the bridge, the western entrance will be in front of you, with a cafeteria on your left and a garden on your right.
Fondamenta San Giobbe: From Ponte delle Guglie, stay on the left of the Rio di Cannaregio until (almost) the very end, and you will be at the eastern (red) gate.
