The Field Training Office was established to ensure each trooper receives adequate training, this includes review of all administrative documentation, learning inner-departmental policies and procedures, and on the road ride-alongs.

If you are currently employed by the San Andreas State Police, you may be eligible to become a Field Training Officer. Review the requirements below:
No discipline recorded in the past thirty (30) days
Be the rank of Trooper First Class or higher
Be in good standing with the department
Passed the Extended Training Guide examination within the past three (3) months
