WHAT ARE GRADE PROJECTS?
WHAT ARE GRADE PROJECTS?
To address the skills and competencies highlighted in the current BC Science curriculum, students at Burnaby South in Grades 8-10 will be doing a common grade project.
The common project will allow students to apply the skills and knowledge they acquired during the academic year in the context of a single project. By the end of this project, students will have a good understanding of the science competencies and skills needed to be successful at the next grade level.

Students currently registered in Science 8 will be doing the Solar Oven Project.
Students currently registered in Science 9 will be doing the Mud Battery Project.
Students currently registered in Science 10 will be doing the Calorimeter Project.
