Mission Statement
The Mission of the Georgia State Patrol is to protect the residents of Georgia by providing excellent Law Enforcement services with the highest amount of fairness, respect, integrity, and professionalism. We pride ourselves to being an asset to the community, and not just to enforce the law. It is our belief that every citizen should be guaranteed with nothing less than the best by their local agency, and we aim to bestow that. Be a part of an elite group of men and women who serves, protects, and defends the people of the State of Georgia, while preserving the rights and dignity of all.
Our Core Values
Professional
As members of a highly trained profession, we will conduct ourselves in a manner that is consistent with professional standards for performance, both on duty and off duty. These standards include adherence to our Mission Statement, and other Core Values. We perform our roles ethically, with knowledge, and maturity thus representing the values of the San Andreas Highway Patrol regardless of circumstance. Above all, professionalism entails that we hold ourselves and each other accountable to these standards.
Excellence
We always strive for excellence and accepting a role within the Highway Patrol entails a never-ending search for improvement. Thereby, we aim for excellence in everything we do.
Dedication
To the organization, each other, our families, and the citizens we serve. Sworn members have an unquestionable work ethic.
Respect
Respect is at the core of every interaction with our residents. We value empathy and professionalism and will consistently demonstrate these values to our residents.
