Under The Notaries Public Act of Saskatchewan specify a notary public can:

• Administer oaths

• Receive affirmations

• Receive declarations

• Certify and attest true copies of documents

• Issue deeds and contracts, charter-parties and other mercantile documents

• Attest to commercial instruments

Examples of what a Notary Public can do are:

• Sign passport/travel documents

• Certify copies of birth certificates

• Certify documents regarding homesteads

• Witness signatures (Power of Attorney, and Wills)

Travel to Safety Center/Jail ............................................. $100 (if wait time extra fee)

Prices varies - depends on distance please call for quote

*Please note: authentication of notarized documents is not done by the notary public and must be done by a provincial or federal government agency (i.e. Minister of Justice of Saskatchewan or Global Affairs Canada).
