This year, we are honored to support The Ivey, a not-for-profit organization based in Charlotte, North Carolina, that provides care, connection, and hope for individuals experiencing early memory or cognitive changes—and for the loved ones who walk beside them.
The Ivey was chosen as our charity this year by our president, whose personal journey as a caregiver for a parent with Alzheimer’s makes this mission deeply meaningful. Many within our SASFAA community have faced similar experiences, and some of us are currently walking the path. Together, we have the power to make a real difference for families navigating these challenges.
At The Ivey, their programs focus on optimizing brain health, promoting memory wellness, and providing vital support and education for caregivers and families. Their mission is to be a beacon of hope—empowering individuals and families to live fully, age well, and face memory-related challenges with strength and resilience.
Their vision is to become the Charlotte region’s premier center for brain health and wellness education, offering a welcoming space where people can learn, connect, and thrive.
We invite you to join us in supporting this inspiring organization and the important work they do for so many in our community.
