If you want to go fast, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

- African proverb

Sasahara Seminar is a 'zemi'. This comes from the German word 'seminar', referring to a small group of students studying a specific subject under the supervision of an instructor. The faculty advisor of this zemi is Akira Sasahara. He is researching international economics and we are focusing on this subject as well.

We are an international community consisting of talented students from unique backgrounds. This zemi conducts all activities in English. We believe that the diversity of our community provides us with a creative and fun learning environment.

We study a variety of topics in international economics from empirical and theoretical perspectives.
