We Are The DHS

We are a U.S. Federal Executive Department responsible for public security, roughly comparable to the interior or home ministries of other countries. Its stated missions involve anti-terrorism, border security, immigration and customs, cyber security, and disaster prevention and management.

Our mission is to secure the nation from the many threats we face. This requires the dedication of more than 240,000 employees in jobs that range from aviation and border security to emergency response, our goal is clear, keeping America safe.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and its homeland security mission are born from the commitment and resolve of Americans across the United States in the wake of the September 11th attacks. In those darkest hours, we witnessed true heroism, self-sacrifice, and unified resolve against evil. We rallied together for our common defense, and we pledged to stand united against the threats attacking our great Nation, fellow Americans, and way of life. 

To provide safety, protection and to respond to high-risk calls. The DHS are to respond to terroristic calls, such as heavily armed active shooters, hostage situations, known criminal arrest warrants, such as high-profile gangs or gang leaders. DHS also does investigations after scenes, such as what went wrong, checking security footage for evidence and posting warrants. Lastly, we also respond to higher risk code 5 stops.
